Hold on! If the Clan is the enemy, why did they let Kael die in the first place? Is it possible the 'betrayal' isn't from an external force but something internal within their hierarchy that Vreth manipulated?

I can't help but disagree with you, Diana; I think Kael's death was the ultimate proof of the Clan's cruelty and Vreth's manipulation, not a loophole! The betrayal is so deeply internal that it breaks my heart ๐Ÿ˜ญ. Strong women like our heroine shouldn't havd to navigate such treacherous family politics!
